Quality, Health & Safety and the Environment

In 2006, we set ourselves the task of introducing the European Foundation for Quality Management’s Excellence Model into our organisation, achieving an EFQM Bronze excellence rating (now known as 200+) in April 2007, once again a pioneer as the first company from the lift sector ever to do so. We immediately set ourselves the ambitious goal of achieving a 400+ mark (previously known as the Silver rating), which we realised on 5 November 2008, again setting a benchmark in our sector and being one of the still rather few industrial firms to reach this level. We are now, of course, determined to achieve a 500+ ranking, previously denominated Gold.

Continuous improvement and the search for excellence are approaches absolutely intrinsic to our company spirit, and as a result, we are currently deeply involved in the development and implementation of an integrated quality assurance system based on the following international standards currently in force:

Quality Management Systems standard ISO 9001:2000 - certified since 1997.
Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems standard OHSAS 18001:1999 - certified in January 2008.
Environmental Management Systems standard ISO 14001:2004 - certified in September 2008.
R&D and Innovation Management Systems standard UNE 166002:2006 - to be certified in early 2009.
