At IMEM LIFTS we are absolutely committed to protecting and improving the environment, and this is faithfully reflected in our socially-conscious and eco-friendly day-to-day practice. These principles form a central part of our corporate vision and values and are expressed in every aspect of our company performance:

• We develop ever more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly products. Our lifts are driven by powerful but highly efficient gearless permanent-magnet motors which achieve genuinely extraordinary energy savings, consuming up to 50% less energy than a conventional motor. IMEM has been a recognised specialist in the production of gearless lifts since 1997, a pioneer in the progressive development of this beneficial technology and with a highly advanced know-how acknowledged throughout the industry. Our motors require no oils and no lubricants, thereby guaranteeing a cleaner and safer environment.
• All our mechanical parts are made with special high-resistance steel which reduces the weight of the finished product and significantly lowers energy consumption.
• We mainly use galvanized parts and components which minimise the use of paint and cut the amount of steel used in lift manufacture, resulting in a more efficient use of resources.
• We are fully compliant with the environmental management standard ISO 14001 and certified as such. We have received the 400+ EFQM Excellence Model seal of recognition, which includes a specific criterion dealing with our impact on society and envisages genuine and ongoing improvements in environmental protection and respect for society at large, of which we form an integral part.
