INTERLIFT 2007

The 140-square-metre stand set up by IMEM was divided into two areas. One of them was used to showcase products, and the other one was dedicated to customer service. Visitors could watch various working gearless machines, and also a tower where the new 2:1 suspension mounting SILENS-PRO machine room-less lift for loads from 300 to 630 kg was introduced. This product will coexist with the current standard 1:1 and 2:1 suspension mounting, with a load range from 300 to 2,500 kg. The tower was set up with the new Diana IV gearless machine, a 200-kg permanent magnet  solution, which is considerably lighter and easier to assemble than its predecessor, the successful Diana, over 3,000 units of  which have been installed. Visitors could see how SILENS-PRO is lift that runs smoothly, vibration- and mechanical noise-free.

The tower was made with special high-resistance steel, which allows for significantly lighter weight and much faster and simpler assembly. This type of special steel was introduced by IMEM in the lift industry, and it will be used in the manufacturing of all our new SILENS-PRO lifts.

The most important feature of the innovative SILENS-PRO solution is that it leads to a reduction in pit dimensions or to larger lift cars in existing pits. At the trade show, the tower exhibited corresponded to a 1,600 x 1,600 mm pit and a 630- kg lift, with a pit 50 mm smaller than the size required by a standard machine room-less lift.

In addition, visitors could have a look at the new SILENS-PRO catalogue, including new lift car designs specially designed for the new technology solution. These lift cars, to be available soon, will feature plastic-coated wall panels in a wide variety of colours, and customers will be able to choose among multiple décor combinations.

The IMEM stand was visited by a large number of customers and friends, who  urned the show into a nice experience, where professionals discussed competition in the lift industry and shared views on the latest lift trends.
