ECOSAVER, A SYSTEM WHICH ACTIVELY GENERATES ENERGY

According with its presence at Interlift 2009, IMEM Lifts introduced in Augsburg EcoSaver, a new state-of-the-art regenerative drive system.

Eco-Saver regenerative drive system does not just consume power, it also actively generates it and it uses it with supreme efficiency.

EcoSaver has been specifically design to benefit from all the important advantages of Silens-Pro ML lift and also to improve its efficiency.

EcoSaver System efficiently recovers this energy and feeds it back into the building’s power supply – reducing the building’s total energy consumption by up to 50%. All of which amounts to major year-on-year cost savings.

EcoSaver System’s integrated energy management stores surplus energy in off-peak periods which boosts the power of the primary motor in transient periods of peak load – a significant energy-saver.

Always aware of the importance of space-saving, we have redesigned and miniaturised key components of our new system – with the result that there is absolutely no increase in the size of the Silens-Pro control cabinet.

IMEM Lifts can install  EcoSaver System for any lifts driven by permanent-magnet synchronous motor. Lift speeds and load capacities are determined by our customers’ specifications and the particular characteristics of each job. Our EcoSaver System can handle up to 240 lift starts per hour.

Cleaner Power

High harmonic distortion causes serious problems including components overheating, fuse failures, drive instability and the malfunction of sensitive electronic controls and equipment. Thanks to the up-to-the-minute electronic components and control algorithms used in the design and manufacture of our EcoSaver System, the energy generated produces less than 5% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), an enormous improvement on the 35% limit established by current regulations.

These extremely low levels of THD mean that – unlike with conventional systems - the Silens-Pro can safely operate close by high-precision electronic equipment of any kind without ill effects.

By radically reducing harmonic distortion, the EcoSaver System cuts in-car vibration, improves performance and significantly CUTS repair, maintenance and component replacement COSTS. By keeping Electromagnetic Interference to a minimum, our EcoSaver System further protects nearby radio and electronic equipment from malfunction and pollution – a crucial requirement in today’s computerised age.
